In today's video, it is called "Silencing the Alarm" originally by Donna Eden, taught by Robin Shapiro. You can use this exercise over and over again, as little or as much (no limit) as needed in the moment. This exercise can help work with slowing down your nervous system when you're experiencing trauma-symptoms, anxiety, stress and overwhelm. Some examples of trauma-symptoms may include irritability, anger, on guard for danger, guilt, shame, trouble sleeping and concentrating, flashbacks and easily being startled.
